NuSprint turf type annual Ryegrass was developed to provide a cost effective, high quality turf, without the problems of establishment and transition that commonly plague perennial ryegrass. NuSprint makes an excellent component in fine turf seed mixtures that include perennial ryegrass, fine fescue, and Kentucky Bluegrass. If mixing with other varieties of turf grass do so at a rate of 20% - 50% of the mixture. Bring your parks, schools, sports fields, golf courses and more to the next level!
NuSprint ‘Turf Type’ Annual Ryegrass is cost effective, high quality turf that can transition from cool-season to warm-season turf in the spring. You have a proven winner for many of your turf needs in changing climates! Mowing height during cool season is recommended at 1"- 3", warm season is recommended at 2" - 4".
Ryegrass is a cool season variety, plant once nighttime temperatures are consistently 65 degrees and below.

- Turf: 8-10 pounds per 1000 sq. ft.

Instructions
When choosing to start a new lawn, remove old vegetation by using a de-thatcher, power rake or tiller to kill the existing vegetation. Rake or drag the area to remove debris and dead grass for a clean area. Ensure the soil is leveled and loosened to allow the seed to have good soil contact once spread on a clean seed bed.
If you have an area with heavy weed coverage, we recommend starting fresh by killing and removing the existing vegetation. If you choose to use chemicals, herbicides or fertilizers, you must check with the product's manufacturer prior to planting new seed to ensure the proper waiting period.
When overseeding an existing area, mow your lawn at the lowest setting and bag the clippingsx. Rake or drag any areas that have dead thatch or debris.
