LaPrima XD Bermuda Grass is an "X-treme Density" blend of superior Bermudagrass cultivars selected for fast germination and establishment combined with the highest turf quality. This blend combines Bermudagrasses with high turf quality and cold tolerance. This blend also boasts extremely fast establishment, rapid divot recovery, and good turf quality all around. The cultivars selected for this blend are adapted for superior performance under a broad range of environmental conditions. LaPrima XD can be used for golf course tees, fairways and roughs, sports fields, home lawns, parks and commercial sites around the world. LaPrima XD is also the most cost-effective option when compared to Princess 77, Riviera, and Yukon varieties.
This blend of top-performing seeded Bermudagrasses has high genetic diversity and density to provide superior turf. After the initial establishment, the lower-growing, more dense varieties will dominate under proper maintenance practices. LaPrima XD can be used from the transition zone through temperate, subtropical and tropical areas of the world.
This premium product is easily planted from seed, allowing for much faster and far less expensive establishment. It can be overseeded into stands of common or other seeded Bermudagrass to improve the density and turf quality. LaPrima XD may also be overseeded into existing stands of vegetative, established hybrid Bermudagrasses for repair. Because of LaPrima XD's fast establishment, it is idea for areas where erosion control is an issue.
This top-quality turf-type Bermudagrass product is easily planted from seed, allowing for much faster and far less expensive turf-grass establishment (when compared to the popular vegetative Bermuda varieties). Certified LaPrima may be overseeded into stands of common or other seeded Bermuda varieties to improve density, turf quality, and overall turfgrass performance. When a healthier, easier-to-maintain turf is desired, LaPrima may be overseeded into existing stands of medium-textured hybrid or vegetative Bermudas.
This variety is features excellent turf quality and high density, fast germination for rapid cover. It has a vibrant, dark green color, and excellent Winter color retention. It also has high tolerance for the winter season, as well as drought tolerance for the warmer summer seasons.

Instructions
When choosing to start a new lawn, remove old vegetation by using a de-thatcher, power rake or tiller to kill the existing vegetation. Rake or drag the area to remove debris and dead grass for a clean area. Ensure the soil is leveled and loosened to allow the seed to have good soil contact once spread on a clean seed bed.
If you have an area with heavy weed coverage, we recommend starting fresh by killing and removing the existing vegetation. If you choose to use chemicals, herbicides or fertilizers, you must check with the product's manufacturer prior to planting new seed to ensure the proper waiting period.
When overseeding an existing area, mow your lawn at the lowest setting and bag the clippingsx. Rake or drag any areas that have dead thatch or debris.
