Hancock's Ultimate FALL Food Plot Seed Mix offers four simple yet high-quality, high-performance forage varieties for whitetail deer. Hancock's Ultimate FALL Deer Mix is designed to be an affordable, high protein, drought tolerant mix with wide soil adaptability. Our quality mix will provide nutrition throughout the Fall and Winter or early Spring. Blended of three cool season annual grains and a reseeding red clover, it will germinate very quickly and provide forage that lasts. Hancock’s Ultimate Fall Food Plot Mix is cold hardy and well adapted to all areas of the United States.

Hancock’s Ultimate Fall Food Plot Mix delivers a super easy to grow, high protein food plot which, if managed properly, will provide crude protein levels typically in the 20 to 25 percent range from Fall through Spring. A deer enthusiast will appreciate this knowing high protein plots increases antler size, body weight and herd health. Our Ultimate Fall Food Plot Mix is preferred over many others because of the tough nature and high carbs the grains offer paired with the added “ candy” clover. It’s irresistible!

Mixture (Fall/Winter Mixture, September - March):
- Wheat
- Grain Rye
- Oats
- Crimson Clover

Remove all old vegetation to prepare a clean seedbed by means of a disc. Drag area to loosen and level any hard or uneven spots if necessary. Apply a slow-release starter fertilizer at the recommended rate of 250 lbs. per acre. Fertilize three times a year for best results.
Broadcast seed at recommended rate. Drag or roll lightly to cover the seed no more than 1/4 in. below surface. If you are overseeding an existing area, it is pertinent to mow existing grass low and incorporate seed 1/4 in. into soil for best results. Apply irrigation for approximately 30 minutes each evening until soil is damp, and germination has occurred. Irrigate newly-seeded areas every other day until the sprout reaches 6 in., then water recommended three times a week if needed.
