Switchgrass is a warm season native grass…it is a vigorous perennial that can be found growing throughout the United States. Switchgrass is drought resistant, and is used extensively in conservation plantings and wildlife habitat applications.  It provides excellent cover for wildlife of all types, and is also excellent for forage and grazing for livestock.
