Hancock's Fall & Winter Food Plot Seed Mix
Back
Hancock's Fall & Winter Wildlife Seed Blend is designed for low-cost winter food plots that provide a variety of high protein legumes. Our winter food plot blend is, plain-and-simple, quality seed with quality results.
To effectively observe the wildlife impact on your food plot, place a 10' x 6' barrier, made of chicken wire and zip ties, in the middle of your food plot (be sure to staple down the wire with camping stakes). By using the barrier you may find that some seed varieties grow better, and that the deer prefer some varieties more than others, depending on your specific location. We pride ourselves on custom seed mixes: After you identify the varieties that your deer herd prefers, we can then custom-blend your own food plot mix for the next planting season. It is impossible to create a food plot mix that all deer in all locations will absolutely love. Our mix provides eight effective and inexpensive fall and winter food plot seed varieties. These eight ingredients have proven to grow, survive, and provide adequate nutrition throughout the southeastern United States, from October through April.
