Bulldog 805 Alfalfa is well suited for Central Georgia (from Macon, GA south) and below which includes Florida and the coastal plain of Alabama to Texas. Bulldog 805 Alfalfa is one of the few alfalfa varieties specifically adapted for the unique growing conditions of the southern states. Bulldog 805 Alfalfa is one of two latest dual purpose alfalfas bred at the University of Georgia.
Bulldog 805 Alfalfa has the same strong characteristics of Bulldog 505 Alfalfa; it will handle aggressive grazing, has strong treading and trampling tolerance, plus good disease and drought resistance. Proper management of alfalfa is the key to having a successful Alfalfa pasture or wildlife food plot.
