Hancock Seed Company has been a worldwide importer/exporter of all different varieties of seeds for over thirty years. Here is some basic information on the exporting process.
In most countries, seeds are regulated and require special documents and/or treatments to be exported. Most commonly, those documents are a phytosanitary certificate and an import permit. If your country requires a phytosanitary certificate, we work with our Department of Agriculture to obtain the certificate. The fee is $105. If an import permit is required, you would have to obtain that document from the Ministry of Agriculture in the destination country and provide us with that permit. If the import permit states that there are additional requirements, we would charge additional fees for those services. Currently, we ONLY accept wire transfers for payment of international orders.
