For new turf applications, broadcast 2 to 3 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. For turf repair applications, broadcast 0.5 to 1 lb per 1000 sq. ft.

Bermuda Triangle Blend should be planted when soil temperatures are consistently above 65° F in full sun, on well-drained soil. Care must be taken not to cover the seed with too much soil...no more than 1/4 in. covering the seed is recommended. Soil moisture around the seed must be maintained for about 1 to 2 weeks. Under ideal conditions, germination may begin within 10 to 14 days. Allow 14 to 18 days for completion. Full coverage may be attained in 4 to 6 weeks. When planting early or late in the season, more time may be needed for establishment.

Triangle Bermuda can be maintained at mowing heights from 0.5 to 2 in. Applying 3 to 5 lbs of nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft. per growing season is adequate. Do not remove more than a third of the leaf blade per mowing for healthy turf.

Dormant Bermudagrass may be overseeded for year-round color, but is not generally recommended on turf less than 6 to 8 months old. Immature turf may be damaged by the vertical cutting and scalping process, leaving it unable to compete with the overseeded species during the spring transition.

      Bermuda Grass Seed In Florida

Easy company to work with and have good prices on their products. A little too early to see how the results will be but the seed is planted.

      Standard of Quality

Hancock, sets the standard for seed quality. I am a repeat customer because when the label on the containers says 80% or 90% germination rate you can bet the house on that. Thanks Hancock you guys outstanding.

I have purchased Bermuda Triangle seed three times now and have been pleased each time. My yard/grass is now looking like beautiful sod - which was my goal. It has taken me 3 summers, but I have learned a lot along the way. Bermuda Triangle is the way to go as well as Hancock Seed Company.

      Triangle Bermuda Seed Performs

Seed arrived in just a few days from South Florida to Mississippi. Was very glad to see the recent testing date(late November). In preparation I killed existing turf with glyphosate, scalped and verticut to remove majority of dead turf(left some material to help prevent runoff). Raked till lines in dirt, broadcast seed, lightly raked again to cover seed with 1/8 inch of soil, put down 10-10-10 and finished off with a light dusting of peat moss. Then watered, watered and watered some more…THIS IS THE KEY! I had germination in 5-6 days. By day 10 about 80% of seed had fully emerged. Threw down some nitrogen and kept watering. It’s now been 18 days and I’m about to mow for the first time. Grass looks great…time to start pushing it for the rest of the season!
