Tecomate LabLab Plus

Most nutritious, preferred, productive big-seeded legume mix available! Delivers the antler-growing/fawning nutrition of Lablab but better able to withstand early grazing because of addition of other big-seeded peas/beans, including our own vining Ebony Pea and forage soybean plus premium sorghum/milo, which both screens the legumes during the early weeks and produces seed relished by deer and game birds. Plant spring/early summer in North & South. (For early bow season, plant late summer/early fall. Dies when frost hits.)

***(Note: All big-seeded peas (cowpeas, soybeans, Lablab, etc.) are vulnerable to heavy grazing during the first 5-6 weeks. This can be overcome either by planting enough acreage to disperse early grazing or by temporarily protecting young plants with fences. After 6 weeks, can withstand heavy grazing.)

Max Attract Planting Suggestions 1) Plant in a sunny location that has been disked to a clean, level and firm seedbed. 2) Tecomate recommends liming if the pH is below 5.8 and fertilizing with a balanced 13-13-13 fertilizer at the rate of 200 to 300 pounds per acre. Inoculating with Cowpea Inoculant will improve nitrogen fixation. 3) No-till drill, cultivate and broadcast or cultivate and drill seed. Plant at a rate of 40 pounds per acre. When broadcasting, cover seed by dragging or cultipacking. Plant ¼ inch deep in good moisture. Avoid planting too deep. 4) If planted in spring in northern zones, mow in late summer and fertilize in late August or early September. - See more at: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:1WsJu8WQa1wJ:www.hancockseed.com/seed-varieties-241/food-plot-seed-373/tecomate-food-plot-seed-608/tecomate-max-attract-food-plot-seed-40-lb-bag-637.html+&cd=14&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a#sthash.zeACDFCx.dpuf
