Southwest Native Wildflower Seed Mix - These native wildflower seed mixtures were developed for specific areas of the United States and Canada. Our Southeastern Native Wildflower Seed mix is composed of annual and perennial wildflowers that are native to the region, and when available, are from seed sourced from that region to insure maximum adaptability. Use these wildflower seed mixes for projects where 100 percent native species are required or preferred.
This annual and perennial mix contains: Arroyo Lupine, Bigelow's Tickseed, Bird's Eyes, Blazing Star, California Bluebell, California Poppy, Clarkia, Desert Gobemallow, Desert Marigold, Eaton's Penstemon, Five Spot, Mojave Lupine, Mountain Phlox, Pale Evening Primrose, Palmer Penstemon, Prairie Coneflower, Tidy Tips and Wild Four O'Clocks.
Planting Rate: 7-14 lbs. per acre, 6 oz. per 1000 sq. ft.
**Use the higher planting rate for maximum color, when adequate soil preparation or weed control are not possible, or if using a hydroseeder for planting. The lower planting rate is suitable for broadcast or drill seeding methods.
