Pasto Rico Bermuda Grass Seed (Coated) - also known as "Pasta Rica". Pasto Rico Bermuda grass seed contains a mixture of 50% Giant Bermuda and 50% Common Bermuda. Pasto Rico is designed for hay production and livestock grazing in pastures. Giant Bermuda grows quicker than Common Bermuda and is therefore mixed with Common to give a quicker stand for grazing and haying within the first year of planting. Giant Bermuda Grass has a life expectancy of three to five years. This is why Pasto Rico Bermuda is preferred over Common Bermuda when planting for hay production or livestock grazing.
