Plant at a rate of 30 lbs. / acre, or 1 lb. per 1,000 sq. ft., at a depth of 1/2 in. Plant during February or March. Aim for a pH of 6.0 to 6.5 for best results.
If grown in pasture with other grasses, graze to keep grass from shading out the Lespedeza. Allow Lespedeza to go to seed once per year to maintain pasture.
